This area full of natural beauty, according to Nirvankand (A Text) is the place
of
salvation of Shri Swarnabhadra & three more ascetic saints. This place is near
by Chelna River.
At the top of hill an ancient building still exists.
Here exists an underground cave built by Shri Deopat Kheopat about 750 years
ago. It is supposed that Swarnabhadra, Gunbhadra & Veerbhadra accepted penance
near Lord Chandraprabhu (8th Teerthankar) and attained salvation from Pawagiri
near Chelna River.
Here an idol of Principal Deity Lord Parsvanath is full of miracle. A Ghost
named Bhure Baba safe guards the entire field and fulfills the desires of
pilgrims. |
| Main Temple & Idol :

Underground Cave Temple is the main ancient temple of this area. It is about
750 years old. Here the idol of Principal Deity Lord Parsvanath, idols of Lord
Adinath, Ajitnath, Sambhavnath, Neminath were installed in V.S. 1345. An idol
of Lord Mallinath (The 19th Teerthankar) is here installed in V.S.1299. These
idols are very beautiful & attractive made in black stone.
