| About Champanery :

The Atishayakari Sambhavnath &
Parshvanath Digambar Jain Mandir Champanery is situated in Champanery town of
District – Ajmer on Kekari-Vijaynagar Road in Rajasthan State. Principal deity
of this temple are Bhagwan Sambhavnath – the 3rd Teerthankar and miraculous idol
of Bhagwan Parshvanath (installed 70 years ago) are installed here. This temple
is about 500 years ancient.
Atishaya (Miracles): - The idol of Bhagwan Parshvanath is very attractive
& miraculous. This idol is made of black colored stone in Padmasana posture,
dimensions are 6” X 4½” while the gate of this temple at the time of
installation was simply 5 feet in height & 3 feet in width. It was looking very
difficult to take the idol in temple for installation. But at that time, the
miracle took place, devotees saw that while the idol was brought near the gate,
this automatically get shortened in size according to the gate and easily
entered through the gate in the temple and was installed at its place. After
installation so many miracles are taking place here i.e. Musical sound, fragrant
wind and materialization of devotees desires.

| Main Temple & Idol :
|
This vast beautiful temple decorated with sky-high spires is 500 years ancient. The
spires of this temple ornamented with golden round pots (Kalash) attract the devotees from a far distance.
Principal deity of this temple are Bhagwan Sambhavnath – the 3rd Teerthankar
in Padmasana posture, the idol is highly attractive & magnificent. The other
idol is Bhagwan Parshvanath’s, very attractive & miraculous. Both the altars
where these idols are installs are very attractive, a eye catching work of
gold on glass is worth seeing here. This temple is famous as “Kanch Ka Mandir”
(Temple of Glass) in this area for its beautiful artistic work on glass. There
are 35 idols installed in 6 altars worth seeing in this temple. Todays great
Digambar Jain Acharya Poojya Vidya Sagarji had declared this Kshetra –
‘Miraculous’, during his visit of this place about 25 Years ago. After the
declaration he went in the deep meditation & penance up to 7 to 8 hours. |
