Bajrang Garh :
|
Atishaya Kshetra Bajrang Garh is
about 1200 years old, situated in the west of Guna District on Guna-Aron-Sironj
route. This is a place full of natural beauty, famous in the world for
attractive miraculous idols of Lord Shantinath, Kunthunath & Arahnath in
standing posture. Jain Nagar was the old name of this place, which was changed
later on the name of Lord Bajrang (Hanuman) Temple in the fort as Bajrang Garh.
This Kshetra shows the broadmindness of famous historic businessman Shri Pada
Shah, his love & faith for Jainism and a proof of expertise of architects and
artists.
Shri Pada Shah constructed here’s main ancient temple in V.S. 1236, he also
constructed Jain Temples at many more Teerth Kshetras.
Atishaya – This is said that to worship gods of heaven come here. So many
persons have heard their music & sound in midnight.
In V.S. 1943 some persons tried to destroy the idols & temple, immediately rain
of fire started and invaders have to run away.
So many Jains & others come here & worship Lord Shantinath and get their desires
materialized. |
| Main Temple & Idol :
|
At this Kshetra an ancient
temple of Lord Shantinath in standing high with sky high pinnacle about 800
years old, with principal deity Lord Shantinath in standing posture, 18 feet
in height, so beautiful & magnificent, Red in color. Idols of Lord Kunthunath
& Arahnath are installed in both sides of principal deity, 10 feet & 9 inches
in height each.
These three Teerthankars were simultaneously Chakravarti & Kamdeo also.
Generally Shri Pada Shah has installed the idols of these three at other
Kshetras also.
In this temple so many other ancient idols are also installed and agreeable.
On the walls of this temple, attractive pictures related to mythological
stories are drawn which are worth being seen in the views of art also.
Magnificent Samavsharan Mandir is also agreeable here. |

here in the village, one is Bhagwan Parsvanath Jinalaya in main market
constructed by Shri Jhhitu Shah. Another is constructed by Shri Harish Chandra
Tarka. Attractive magnificent pictorial Trikal Chaubeesee is being designed in
Tarkaji’s Temple.
